The Process
01: Mood board
While often underestimated, the mood board is arguably one of the most critical steps in the design process, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing a clear direction for the project. In this phase, we gather inspiration from various sources, including websites, to explore color palettes, section styles, and visual effects. Typically, I will curate the mood board based on my understanding of your goals and desired aesthetics. From there, you, the client, will review and provide feedback, helping refine the vision by highlighting what resonates and what needs adjustment.
02: Wireframe
Wireframing is where we visualize the idea. Just like the wooden frame lets you imagine the rooms and structure of the house, the wireframe creates the foundation for the layout of the site. In this phase, based on the mood board, I will design the framework that organizes where the content will be placed. Unless otherwise agreed on, two revisions are included in this phase: The first, after the initial wireframe is completed, as to focus on refining the overall structure, while the second allows for final adjustments before moving into the design phase. This ensures the foundation is solid before adding the finer details
03: Design
At the design stage, creativity takes center stage. We transform the wireframe into a refined, visually engaging product that captures your unique vision. This is where your website truly comes to life. The primary focus here is populating the wireframe with content, whether it’s existing material or newly created. The goal is to ensure the content fits seamlessly within the design, enhancing the user experience and creating a cohesive, polished look.
04: Development
With the design finalized, we now have the "recipe" for your website, and it's time to bring everything together. From here, I’ll handle the remaining steps, which include adding interactive elements, effects, and any final touches. The development process takes place in Webflow, a robust platform that offers fast performance, easy content management, and limitless creative possibilities. This ensures a smooth, efficient build and a website that is both dynamic and easy to maintain.
